Design Principles:
1. ACCESSIBILITY DESIGN
Prioritising the needs of children and people with varying degrees of physical disabilities, to provide an environment full of love, care, convenience, comfort and ensure the safety of these people during their stay. A barrier-free environment was created for providing an improved accessibility and space at the entrance, the horizontal corridors, vertical systems, toilets, bathrooms and dormitories. disabled parking places, outdoor paths, and a signage system for disabled people were also designed.
2. VERTICAL FUNTIONAL ZONES
A rational arrangement of functions divided by 3 major zones that took a consideration about the difference of age groups who would be the future users. Activity area: Ground floor to 3th floor); Minor area: First floor to 4th floor; Adult area: 5th floor to11th floor.
3. SKY GARDEN
Composing a dynamic sky garden system by integrating the setbacks in the northern and southern facades, which would provide a glorious urban landscape for the surrounding inhabitants in their high-rise buildings. Most importantly, as an architectural feature which benefits its future users in its environmental and functional aspects in terms of more outdoor spaces for the disabled people in higher storeys.
