This is an interior design project for a client residing in Heerland, Netherlands.
The client wanted to convert their attic into a master bedroom with ample storage space. The attic is situated at a height that provides a breathtaking view of the town. The exterior and window frames of the extension were black cladding. Therefore, I incorporated black elements in the interior to create a contrast with the light oak furniture.
Since the room will be a retreat from the children downstairs, I proposed installing a ceiling projector that can project on the gable wall to provide an enjoyable movie night experience in their own space.
