The People You Love, Hand-Drawn

A commissioned portrait is a keepsake made to last — your partner, your family, your pets — drawn or painted entirely by hand from your own photographs.

I work in two ways: fine pen-and-ink, built up line by line with an architect’s eye for detail, or colour with warmer and looser in feel. Tell me which you prefer, or send me your reference photos and I’ll suggest the one that suits them best.

I am currently accepting commissions for:

• Couples & Families: Weddings, anniversaries, new arrivals — a portrait that marks the moment.
• Pets: Cats, dogs and companions, drawn with the same care as the people they live with.
• Portrait & Place: People set in the building or landscape that means something to them — a first home, a favourite park, where you met.
• Gifts: Commissioned ahead of a birthday, Christmas or retirement, and framed ready to hang.

Each piece is made to order, so do allow time — send me your photographs and we’ll talk through size, composition and who should be in it.
